OUR CHURCH STAFF

Dr. Rockey Starnes came to us in May 2024 as our first pastor as a Global Methodist Church. Dr. Starnes is a former United Methodist pastor with thirty years of ministry experience. He brings a humerous and powerful message each Sunday. 

Shannon Moreland is our very capable church secretary. She also serves as our video and sound "engineer" on Sunday mornings. Drop by the church office if you have any questions or need. 

Our young and capable custodian is Miss. Gracie Moreland. Each week she cleans up our messes both big and small. Cleanliness is next to godliness. 

Mrs. Maedene Weser is our capable and dedicated organist. She is our longest serving member of the staff and fills our worship with beautiful music and helps the choir and congregation sing hymns of praise. 

Mrs. Linda Walt is our wonderful and faithful pianist. Each week she and her partner in music perform beautiful musical offerings of worship. We look forward to her music each Sunday morning. 

Julie Moore and Alice Curtis are our youth leaders. They lead in bible study, activity planning, fund raisers, trips and more. We appreciate everything they do for our youth.

Currently, Dr. Starnes is leading our choir. With a Bachelor and Masters degree in Church Music he is well qualified. We appreciate his volunteering and leadership.
