We are excited to bring handbells back to worship after a long absence. With Dr. Rockey as our leader we have grown to thirteen ringers and have learned to play as a choir and recently performed in worship.
Music plays an important and central role in our weekly worship service. This fall we plan to play on several occassions, accompanying the hymn singing, and presenting special music. We can't wait for Christmas, maybe "The Carol of the Bells?"
If you have an interest in learning to play the handbells, let Dr. Rockey know and come to practice. We meet in the Bell Room adjacent to the Choir Room. We will have to squeeze you in, but we can do it and be glad too. It's great fun and we have a tremendous time each week.
Currently the choir is on summer recess, and will restart practice after Labor Day.
